Podcast 48: Sports Photo Session

Being based in Tampa Bay, it seems we’re centrally located to cover a good portion of Florida. Taking the I-75 or the always fun I-4 it allows you to pivot and cover the north, south or eastern portions of the state pretty quickly. This gives us the ability to meet with teams whether they’re in our backyard or down in West Palm Beach fairly quick.

What’s our process in taking the studio to your high school, gym or other facility in discussing Team Pictures. One of the first questions is desired time, if it’s a high school team is it during pre-season, after school or at an event they’re hosting. Looking at the size of the team, we’ll discuss expected turn around time for edited images. Typically, the larger the group and the more images the longer the turn around time. Some of the teams want specific group and teams pictures, sometimes it’s a Senior only image, maybe JV or Varsity style image. With wrestlers, it was a state champ style setting and created specific images for those who won their specific class. Once the specifics of the project are hammered out, we’ll work on a planned date and a landing page for your group is created just for your event and time. It’ll have package information, sometimes a scheduler is set which is handy for larger groups to ensure a staggered session and 100 kids don’t show up at the same time.

Prior to the event, usually a day or two prior we’ll contact you to make sure it’s still a greenlight. Once confirmed, we’ll arrive at the designated location and bring the studio to you. Usually for composites several lights are brought over and depending on the team color, we’ll bring backdrops to avoid colors mixing into the team jerseys.

We cover all images from all sports - Cheer, Gymnastics, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Wrestling, Football to name a few.
