Tap Room Podcast 38: Planning a Creative Session

A lot of times when we’re approached by a client, they’re not sure what they want. The conversation is usually starts off with, “what got your attention?”

We create a lot of unique imagery to assist in the process, which also increases our knowledge or new processes and allows for continued improvement.

A lot of times the imagery ends up being composite, which has been around for years and new technology allows for more unique images, animation and the blurring between on set location and in studio.

If you’re thinking about trying a creative session, here are few clues as to why this might be something of interest.

  1. You’re looking for a little extra “umph” to your image to make it stand out amongst your viewers.

  2. Creatively, you want to try new avenues in your portraits and your portfolio.

  3. The portrait you want is in a location that is either not cost effective, safe or not of this world.

  4. The process is fun and expands your own creativeness.

  5. You can feel inspired by a movie or book you love.
