Powder Explosion Portraits Available in Tampa Bay | Get Dirty This Fall
The leaves are falling (up north), the birds are migrating (to Florida) and the weather is finally losing that tropical-esque heat. That means autumn is coming! And these cooler months mean we are bringing back our PEP (Powder Explosion Portraits).
PEP is a big hit portrait choice among dancers, gymnasts and models, but it’s open to anyone who is fun-loving and doesn’t mind getting a little dirty! Yoga instructors and working mamas have also been part of our powdered and smoky portrait sessions in Tampa Bay!
Getting to the nitty-gritty, Taylor Art Photos uses three different colored powder mixtures. They are usually flour based, but we can also offer corn based, if you have an allergy to wheat/flour. The colors available are along the spectrum of the rainbow! As you strike a pose or hit a movement, our talented powder throwing personnel tosses the powder behind, around, and on you! A must-hit pose is the hair whip!
Our Tampa Powder Portraits are approximately one hour long and we can fit two outfit changes in that timespan. The hour allows us time to coach poses, get comfortable, and build up a nice powdery environment.
