Podcast 54: Stranger Things and Halloween Photo Session
It’s funny how you have to plan ahead when it comes to the holidays. If you do things to early, it takes some of the fun out of the event but if you wait to long you miss the boat and might not get the booking you want. At TAP in the Tampa market we always excited for Halloween and the Halloween Photo Sessions that can create some uniquely fun images. While typing this, the first part of Stranger Things, Season 4 has been released and it triggered an excitement for Halloween and how could I incorporate some of the imagery styles going into this year. Something fun, a little different but also keep up to speed with some Pop Culture. So this year, we decided to create a little levity (quite literally) in our Stranger Things imagery and rise to the challenge of a fun pic.
We do try and have some fun with our sessions, even if that means another crossover with our friend Deadpool and the Mindflare

review the part of the show they like, in the instances above it was more or less Vecna and getting them raising their bodies in the air. in the two most recent sessions, that was the case.
we had to figure out how to capture the body in mid air and it resulted in how we capture powder photography. But we used a green screen instead of the throwing powder and being outdoor.
To capture this image, we went ahead an did a few different angles. Might as well :) but i was to ensure we could do a few images on this.
How many attempts? well…. depends on the outfit and a lot of times my timing on capturing the image. Not many as of this typing but the client might argue that - my favorite phrase is “one more time”
Post session, i review all images and find the ones I think would be best for the session. Once I do the editing process begins.
